My love story with fitness and health started at a very young age as an avid ballet dancer.

As I got older the technical demands began to take a toll on my body. This is when working out became a high priority for me.

Coming from the dance world, where self expression and creativity were the norm, I quite frankly found working out to be boring.  The fixed movements seemed too dull for me.

It wasn’t until I tried Pilates in 2004 that I realized for the first time that the fitness and the dance worlds can beautifully merge together. The dance based fitness concepts of Pilates opened my eyes the truth. Fitness, flow and creativity can exists in the same space.

With this new understanding I was more inspired to create training and movements sequences that not only got me fit but were functional, had the creative flow that I craved and were also fun.

Function and flow are the two things that will always be a part of who I am and what I teach; strength conditioning, Pilates, aqua fitness, corrective and postural programs.
